Intersection for the Arts

Intersection for the Arts is a small non-profit arts organization located in San Francisco. Its home is a humble little arts venue in the Mission District. The venue has theater-style seating for 100 or so, so it’s very intimate. It’s SF’s oldest alternative art space (it’s been around for 40 years!). They have all kinds of events — theater, music, spoken word, comedy and dance. I’ve probably seen three or four shows here and have always walked away impressed. Intersection has a resident theater company, Campo Santo, an art gallery, a regular jazz series and a literary series. Very, very cool place.
