Dubai is such a dynamic city. In the past five years, it has
transformed tremendously. With the number of real estate projects
going on, the face of the city has changed. Not only was Burj Al Arab
an iconic structure, The Palm island has further placed Dubai on the
world map.

Dubai is a shoppers paradise. You name a brand in the world, and its
avaiable in Dubai. Places like Mall of the Emirates and Burjuman offer
famous brands under one roof. We finally have a factory outlet mall,
called Dubai outlet Mall on the Al Ain road. The city thrives on
festivals like Dubai Shopping Festival and Dubai Summer Surprises.
There are some authentic deals available at the stores.

If you have the money, Dubai is the place to be. From going on
helicopter rides to view the city, hiring a yacht for the night,
desert safari through the dunes to viewing the city from the Sky Bar
of Burj al Arab, it has it all. Nightlife here has reached the
international standards with places like Trilogy, 360 degree, Chi
lounge and peppermint club.

With so many expats living in the city, it is possible to get the
authentic cuisines of different regions. One must try the local Arabic
food and Shwarma when here. There are some wonderful outdoor options
during the winter season. Since the winter season here is short lived
and means pleasant for most Europeans, all outdoor places are packed
during this time. Restauarants by the beach (Barasti), by the creek
(QD's) or even with the view of Sheikh Zayed Road (Teatro) are plenty.
If visiting Dubai, one must try to visit in the winter season and make
the most of it....
