so much fun but call ahead!

This is a great and classic Boston winter activity. Fairly cheap and just childishly fun. :) However my only caution is to make sure you call ahead before you make the trek over there in the cold. I went there 5 times last winter and 4 of those times it was closed because of a last minute private engagement that rented out the whole frog pond. When its available definitely make your way over there though! It may not be Rockefellar Center, but it will win you over with its classic Bostonian charm.
