"This is such a powerful experience. It really brings home what the Jewish people suffered during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. It’s heartbreaking to see the small space. I think most people have read Anne Frank’s diary in school, and to see where she actually lived (and died) is incredible. It’s amazing to think that it wasn’t really that long ago that the Holocaust happened. I definitely recommend seeing this, and taking your children to see it if you have them, so they can learn about a horrible part of history, to help make sure it isn’t repeated."

"If you are visiting Amsterdam you have to visit the Anne Frank House. Get there early because the lines are usually long. It is absolutely amazing to think you are walking in her family’s footseps and looking out the same windows she looked out of all those years ago. I’m not a history buff and really had no desire to visit her house, but I’m glad I did it was absolutely incredible."

"Whatever your reason for going to Amsterdam (however un-cultural it may be) I definitely think taking a break to visit the Anne Frank House is worth it. Walking through that secret door into their little apartment gave me goosebumps. It’s amazing what they went through, and walking through that house was emotional and fascinating."
