After a two-year renovation ending in 2002, Treasure Island re-emerged as TI. The sex appeal was amped up and the money poured into the rooms and clubs have drawn an increasingly younger crowd. The familiar brick-colored tower shelters a lagoon filled with pirate vessels and rock grottoes, and looks like molten gold when the nighttime spotlights shine. TI’s prime central location on the Strip makes it a great staging point for non-island explorations. TI’s rooms are loaded with amenities. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer spectacular views, and though marble bathrooms have become virtually standard on the Strip, TI ups the ante by giving their suites two marble bathrooms. Ample evidence of TI’s sexed-up new image is on display at The Sirens of TI. Not your father’s pirate show, The Sirens of TI is a battle of the sexes with lots of makeup and not a lot of clothing. A cross between Moulin Rouge and Temptation Island, the show is filled with acrobatics, song, dance, theatrics, and pyrotechnics. The 12-minute spectacle features original songs and music by Emilio Estevan. The sirens are gorgeous, and hard-bodied studs play the pirates. Yes, there is an actual plot, and no, we can’t tell you who wins this version of the battle of the sexes.

No lost Treasure at TI

"The rooms at Treasure Island (now going by TI) are spacious and nicely appointed. My room had two double beds with the room done in various shades of gold. The bathrooms are appointed with marble baths and showers. The room is light and airy due to the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bathrooms come with makeup mirrors and hair dryers. The television set is contained within an armoire. While this is a very nice hotel, this is not my favorite on the strip. There is no atmosphere to this hotel despite the rooms being nicely done. There is no WOW factor that so many of the hotels in Vegas have. In any other city, I would say that this hotel is gorgeous. However, when you compare it to a Mandalay Bay, Venetian, or Paris Hotel, it simply becomes a standard hotel. Nightly, you can watch the pirate show that takes place on the giant ship outside of TI. Now called the Sirens show, you can watch scantly clad women engage in a sword fight with the pirates as they try and lure them to their cove. TI is located a block from the Fashion Mall and across the street from the Venetian"

TI has a great presence in Las Vegas.

"This place has a lot of nice views. I saw some wall frescos, a very large Mermaid ship in which people were getting there wedding pictures taken by, and there is even a pirate show at night that you wouldn’t want to miss. Las Vegas is all about atmosphere among other things, and this place has plenty of it. The one thing that sucked is I had to wait around to take a picture of the Mermaid ship, due to the wedding, and now i can’t find it. It was a great experince none the less. Also there’s an inside tram at the bottom that takes you over to the Venetian or other hotels in the area."

"Love TI – Great location close to shopping (Fashion Show Mall is right across the street) and close to the action along the Strip. The rooms were exactly as shown on the website. Stayed there three times so far. They dont seem to be too generous with offers to former guests. Price always seems competitive and the food is pretty good, but not necessarily the best on the strip. TI - great location

"Stayed at Treasure Island in 2004. The greatest part about TI is its location. It’s right in the middle of the strip, so you don’t have to walk too far either north or south to get to the other casinos. It doesn’t just have a great location, the rooms are very nice and the gaming area is top notch. Also, the Tangerine club is a hot night spot."
