"The sign is smaller than I thought and in a sort of unexpected location, but that doesn’t detract from this classic cool icon. The first time arriving in Vegas can be overwhelming and exciting- the bright lights and glitz of the strip unmistakeable, Spotting the Vegas sign made it all official. I agree with another poster- if you really want pictures, take a taxi."

"I’ve been to Vegas three times and wanted to do nothing but see this sign. The third trip I did it and it wasn’t what I expected at all! It was in the middle of a four lane highway just a mile up from Mandalay Bay. It was neat to see this legendary sign in person. Don’t go with too high of expectations and take a taxi because the drivers are experienced and know where to park if you want pictures."
