If you cant make it to Egypt, but you are interested in Middle Eastern history, this is the place to go. Located deep inside the Luxor pyramid, the museum is a real treat. Exact reproductions of the young kings tomb and riches will be discovered on this self-directed audio tour. All room measurements and placement of the artifacts are based on the notes of Howard Carter who discovered the original tomb in 1922. It is so realistic, you might just worry about being cursed. Audio tour translations available in English, Japanese, French and Spanish.

ohsostrange's rating:

"When you go in, you sit on a bench and watch an excerpt from a documentary about the opening of the tomb, then you pass through into a winding corridor past the chambers of the ‘tomb.’ These chambers are painstaking recreations of the actual tomb and its artifacts at the time of its discovery. No real antiquities on display, but you do get plenty of information about the actual items."
