Summary of RA
RA is a perennial Vegas favorite, as evidenced by the long line of people waiting to get in. Avoid that line by purchasing the VIP pass. It costs more, but you and three friends will be able to bypass the line, receive a bottle of your choice, and score a choice table in the middle of the action. The crowd inside usually includes young locals who are club-savvy, drawn by the potential for a celebrity DJ such as Paul Oakenfold or Roonie G. Fewer people come here to see and be seen; instead, they come for the music. The Egyptian motif is carried through inside, with the familiar basic shapes of Egyptian architecture and the warm golden tones of desert sands. The 19,000 square feet of dance space is accented by flickering laser lights and surrounded by two bars, booths, and two cigar bars. Since Ra is the name of the Egyptian sun god, it only seems appropriate to dance all night and worship the club’s namesake as it rises for a new day.
