Famed French chef Guy Savoy isn’t the only culinary artist calling Caesars Palace home. Bay Area chef Bradley Ogden mixes flavors that provide zest with his signature farm-fresh ingredients, resulting in dishes that wow your taste buds at his self-named restaurant. Pan roasted Hawaiian opah bursts with the zest of coconut-lime, while the tender wood-fired pork loin pops when paired with pineapple, tofu, and a black bean emulsion. Showgoers will have better luck being seated if they dine before the show instead of after. If you catch Ogden on a less crowded night, he’s been known to give tours of the kitchen to his guests. Even if you aren’t invited behind the swinging doors, the gentle sounds of the waterfall and the darkly sleek decor will give you a respite from the Roman glitz outside.

"I can’t say enough about the genius combinations of food that Bradley Ogden has put together. Even vegetarians have great options here. I had a mushroom goulash and it was not too salty, the ricotta gnocchi and creme fraiche balanced the earthiness of the mushrooms."

Bradley Ogden review

foodie's rating:

"Your taste buds are in for a treat at the elegant, eponymous restaurant of Bay Area chef Bradley Ogden. His signature nouveau American cuisine – starring farm fresh ingredients, flown in daily – is both down-home and daring. What I especially like is that you never know what you’ll be eating: Ogden unveils an innovative menu that changes nightly and may include creamy soups of organic carrot or parsley root, halibut with stuffed squash blossoms and black olives, and hot and cold foie gras served with cherries and warm brown bread. Divine desserts include chocolate bread pudding, rhubarb cake, and a banana split with coconut ice cream that knows no equal."
