The Bellagio is proud to be home to James Beard Award-winning chef Julian Serrano. Serrano’s French cuisine bowled over San Francisco’s epicures at Masa, and now he’s doing the same for Vegas. Picasso takes French-Mediterranean cuisine to the highest levels of gastronomic perfection. Picasso was honored with AAA Five Diamond awards for excellence in 2002, 2003, and 2004. With sumptuous dishes such as sautéed filet of Canadian halibut with purple Peruvian potatoes carpaccio and mushroom duxelle, or boudin of fresh lobster, shrimp, and scallops with sofrito and nantua sauce, it’s unlikely the night’s menu will disappoint. Exquisitely decorated with original art by the cubist master Pablo Picasso, this restaurant is as much a feast for the eyes as the stomach.

Excellent food and a terrific view...

melliempa's rating:

"The first treat is the meal. Picasso offers two different “tasting menus.” One is four courses and the latter is five. The attentive staff is more than happy to substitute items between menus. The wine conossieur would have trouble finding a better wine list in the town. The real treat is the front-row view of the Bellagio fountains that diners are treated to. Tables by the window are only available for smaller parties, so book early. It’s a worthwhile treat and you won’t go home hungry. "
