Anchored by high-end department stores Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, the Fashion Show Mall is a one-stop shop for all your fashion needs. Located right on the strip, across from Treasure Island, the Fashion Show Mall is a massive collection of all things retail. You’ll find your requisite Express, Gap, and Abercrombie & Fitch that are in any suburban shopping mall mixed with designer knock-off favorites like Bebe and Arden B. But adding to the prestige are upscale boutiques such as Adrienne Vittadini, BCBG, Betsey Johnson, and Louis Vuitton. Hit L’Occitane for luxurious skin products, French Connection for hip high-street fashion, the Apple store for the latest iPod, or Coach for a chic leather handbag. There is, of course, a food court where you can rest your weary feet and chow down on pizza, pretzels, or ice cream, but for something a little less mall-ish, head for the quality cafés inside the department stores, like Nordstrom Marketplace Café or Bloomingdale’s B-Café. Fashion Show is a mall, meaning no sunshine and big crowds, but it’s no average mall. If you need a break from the casinos and heat, this mall on steroids is a nice place to pass the time.

"Now I rarely go to Vegas to buy designer clothes, but if thats your thing, you might want to check this place out. The one thing that I remember vibrantly is that in the middle of the mall they had this section that kind of rose out of the ground, and it was a catwalk! So a couple people would come out and music would start blasting, and it was like a make-shift fashion show. A nice distraction for those bored waiting for their significant other to come out of the store!"

"Nearly three hundred stores in a building that looks like a flying saucer crashed into the Strip. If you’re looking for bargains, you’re in the wrong place, but it certainly offers variety."

Close to perfection

"My first stop in Las Vegas isn’t to the casino, it’s to the Fashion Square Mall! A lot of my favorite stores are here, including Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom. The mall has a very trendy feel to it, and it’s fun when there’s a fashion show going on."

"As the mother of two budding fashionistas, I can’t take my girls on a trip without at least one visit to a mall. Vegas was no different, so off we were to the Fashion Show Mall while Mike stayed behind and tried his luck at the casino (tried and failed). Fashion Show is no average mall, let me tell you. It has seven department stores for one thing, including Saks, Nordstrom and Neiman’s. There was also a fashion show going on in the Great Hall. There are stores for pretty much everything and everyone. Michelle was ready to move in to the Build-A-Bear workshop, while Katie spent most of her allotted amount at Limited Too. Along Came a Spider also had some unique things for kids. I picked up some things at Ann Taylor and Banana Republic, and we hit Sharper Image for a fun gadget to bring back to dad. The food options are practically endless; we ate at California Pizza Kitchen, which is always a safe bet."
