If Julius Caesar had set out to build a mall instead of conquer Gaul, this is what would have resulted. The Forum Shops at Caesars offer 160 places to give your credit card a workout. Recently expanded, the Forum Shops contains high-end boutiques, mainstream retail outlets and restaurants. The fountains, statues, artwork, arches and textured ceilings look more like a museum than a mall. Whether you can afford to go in or not, you’ll find the usual suspects in terms of couture: Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dolce and Gabbana, Armani, Versace, etc. If you need something flashy for the club, check out Roberto Cavalli; you can send Mom to drool over Judith Leiber’s bejeweled clutches so she won’t cluck over your hem length (or lack of it). For more moderate attire, visit the new flagship Express store. Bored husbands, boyfriends, brothers and fathers can amuse themselves in Niketown, Sony Style and the ever-popular Corona Store.

Gorgeous mall

"There are moving statue shows at two of their statue-fountains. (sassylaurie must have been watching the wrong group of statues) I’ve seen both shows. The one with Bacchus is pretty much special-effect free, unless you count the mini laser-light show on the ceiling. The other, between the giant free-standing aquarium and The Cheesecake factory, is a big production, complete with flame-throwers. The free fountain show is supposed to lure you into an expensive motion-ride next to it, but the fountain show is a million times better than the ride, so save your money. They also give free tours of the aquarium facilities, which is a complex in the basement where they nurse sick animals and keep the tank cleaning apparatus, etc. When I took it, they were breeding sea horses for the tank in Caesar Palace’s Seahorse Lounge, which was pretty interesting. Your tour guide is one of their staff of oceanographers and ichthyologists, who can and will answer any of your questions about the animals on display upstairs. Another can’t-miss sight is the two-story Trojan horse outside FAO Schwarz. Don’t skip a ride on the mall’s charming spiral escalators, either. They combine modern convenience with the look of classical architecture-there’s something endearing about how hard the place strains to make itself monumental and imposingly grand while hosting stuff like ‘The Gap’ and ‘Swatch.’"

This place is so beautiful!

"Out of all the shops I have been to in Vegas, the shops here were the most charming. I remember someone kindly telling me that if I wait ,that statues move. Ah, I waited about an hour, the statues looked like they might be moving alright, from my eyes staring too long. Apparently there is a show in one of the back rooms, where the statues move, but not out in front where you see these statues. Funny joke… This place is just breathtakingly beautiful. A lot of the statues and images here just TAKE MY BREATH AWAY. My time here was truly priceless. I enjoyed all the shops, the views, and especially the statues that even though they didn’t move for me, were truly truly awesome. This was my favorite shopping place. So if you hit Vegas, you might want go here for the shopping, lol. I actaully climbed the strairs pictured… This feels like yesterdey to me since I was here."

My new favorite shopping venue!

"Love shopping at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace! The assortment of specialty stores found here make this a whole different experience than Fashion Square Mall, where the large department stores are more the norm. The Forum Shops are also a great spot for people watching. This is can’t miss spot for me!"
