Las Vegas is expensive enough, what with the drinking, dining, gambling, and shopping – and that’s before you’ve even made it out the door of your own hotel. So try to find a bargain or two at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets, one of the best and most upscale outlet shopping centers in the country. The list of stores runs like a who’s who of Madison Avenue without the Upper East Side price: Calvin Klein, Elie Tahari, Dolce & Gabbana, and Perry Ellis are just a few of the high-end designer lines that you’ll come across in your woman-on-a-mission shopping route. You can grab a sexy jacket at Armani Exchange, trendy tops at Theory, chic separates at Banana Republic, and a cute clutch at Coach. Located only a few minutes from the Strip, off I-15, the Las Vegas Premium Outlets is just what style mavens on a budget are looking for.

jwcorney's rating:

"If Disneyland is just a façade for commercialism, then how bad must Vegas be? You come for the games, food, and grown-up entertainment, but you are expected to shop at the many beautiful malls. Caesars Forum shops, the Venetian shops, Desert Passage at the Aladdin, and the Fashion Show Mall are all excellent places to shop, but I hope you aren’t expecting a deal, because you won’t find them there. The Premium Outlets represent the best of the three factory outlet malls in Vegas (and surrounding area). Here you will find some very nice stores including the places you normally shop like Banana Republic and the Gap, and some places you really want to shop like Coach, Ultra Diamonds, L’Occtaine, and Ecco. The Premium Outlets may not be the easiest place to get to, and it is an open air mall, so hot summer days aren’t the most fun, but if you know you will be shopping in Vegas you might want to make this an early stop, so when you see that “must have” at Dolce & Gabbana on the strip you can be happy to say not only do you already have it, but you got it at a better price. It is also worth mentioning that The Premium Outlets have a decent Japanese buffet, Makino, and a food court. The mall is also reasonably close to Downtown Las Vegas a.k.a. the Fremont Experience (a massive canopy of lights which shows at night). So although not a walking situation you may want to incorporate downtown into your daytrip off the strip. "
