"Although the ride was steep at times, the views are completely breathtaking. It was no surprise to see a house built on the side of the road anchored to the ground in chains to protect it from the fierce winds that sometimes surround the area. I will presume this bulding is for storage purposes. Keep in mind on a clear day, it is possible to see for 90 miles on top of the mountain-even more of a breathtaking view. "

"I would be lying if I said I was not a little scared going up (and down) this auto road. Once safely back at the bottom, I could reflect on the awesomeness of what I had just seen. Truly majestic views. There are tours where professionals will do the driving for you."
