Albuquerque

Natural History Museum in ABQ
"Albuquerque is pretty dull at first glance, but theres actually quite a lot of interesting things going on here. Every year is the Duke City Shootout for film makers and the 48 hour film festival. If you visit during those times, you might catch something interesting in the making. The Guild Downtown reguarly shows indie films, and Century 14 downtown for more blockbuster type movies. If you like clubbing and drinking, Downtown and Nob Hill on Central when it hits numbered streets are good places to start. I recomend Club OPM because it has two levels, the top one being a bar and the lower level being a dance floor. There's a free newspaper that can be found all over called the Alibi that relates fun stuff going on around town. If you're visiting be sure to pick one up.Personally, I prefer historic entertainment. So, if you're like me, check out the Natural History Museum in Old Town Albuquerque. Dinosaur skeletons, IMAX and Dome theaters, changing unique and exciting exhibits make this the perfect destination for educational fun - that and kids love it.The petroglyphs can be a little disapointing unless you really love petroglyphs. Better to go to Bandellier or Chaco or Aztec for Ruins, and ABQ for Arts and Entertainment.

"This is a really nice casino. It is brand new. It used to be really smoky and yucky inside, but now its very modern..Just like in las vegas"
