"Corning is the city of glass with it’s glass museum, hot glass studios and glass outlets. It is a small, scenic area located close to Watkin’s Glen (with it’s speedway and gorges) and many fingerlakes and fingerlake wineries. Downtown Corning has the historic Market Street district which is filled with restaurants, shops, hot glass studios, galleries and outlets. Buildings on Market have appealing 19th century architecture. Many festivals take place throughout the year.
