"Purity Ice Cream, originally opened here in Ithaca, is over 70 years old and serves an enormous variety of ice cream flavors, all made from local, high quality ingredients. Although Purity does feature many flavors that other national brands will offer, you will also find some flavors that will only exist at Purity. Some of these flavors include Finger Lakes Tourist, which has white chocolate chunks and hazelnut pieces in chocolate ice cream, and Sleepers Awake!, coffee ice cream with fudge swirls and chocolate chunks. The people there were very friendly and the ice cream was delicious. Purity Ice Cream is definitely something you shouldn't miss."

"This is an all-around fun ice cream parlor. Large variety of flavors with fun names. Sundaes and fountain creations round out the menu. This place is an Ithaca establishment that focuses on quality ingredients and delicious ice cream. Located on a highly visible corner, close to downtown."
