Fair... but not great.

"I stayed here twice in 2001/2002 and neither time was I impressed. The rooms were small - which I know is what to expect from a NYC hotel but it should still be noted. The bar/lounge was almost pitiful but I never did eat in the restaurant. The service was fair... the cleaning was fair... everything was just fair with this hotel. The only highlight is the location, which is just off Times Square. Neither time though did our room have a view of it but that is OK - at least there was some sort of a view besides a wall! I'd stay here again if I got a deal but for the price, I believe there are better hotels in the area. "

Never Know What You Will Get.

"I have been to the Millenium twice. Both times I have had great views of Times Square and the rooms have been nice. However, I was not a big fan of the restaurant Charlotte, I went for one breakfast and 2 dinners. The breakfast was fine, the dining room was very busy, decent service. I went there for dinner on 2 seperate trips and both times the service was almost non-existant. THe first time I had a good pasta dish, the second time I had chicken with macaroni and cheese, neither of these were very good. The mac and cheese and chicken were cold, almost like they had been siting out for awhile and it took about 35 minutes to reheat it even though i was one of four guests eating. During the fist trip I had good maid service, they picked up every day and restocked the minibar. The second time i had an oerflowing trashcan for 3 days and finally the maids came up around 7pm to clean, My minibar was never restocked and had some things missing when i arrived, which I told the front desk about and they said they would take care of it, they never did but at least I wasnt charged. Overall the hotel is in a great location nice deli across the street along with te GMA studios and there is a fantastic Italian restaurant nearby. Nice location, okay hotel."
