These former commercial shipping piers have been transformed into a massive sports complex, allowing New Yorkers to enjoy a huge range of sporting options without leaving the city. There is a golf driving range, rollerskating, ice skating, bowling, swimming and workout facilities, just to name a few options. Less athletic activities include childrens theatre and video games. Fees and hours vary.

"If you are looking for something fun to do sporting wise Chelsea Piers has a lot to offer. They have a great bowling alley, indoor ice skating rink as well as assorted cages etc. They also offer a variety of lessons ranging from golf, and gymnastics."
