"I usually go here to see SJU or the Knicks play. The Barnum and Bailey circus also uses this venue when they come to town. Seats are average and ticketing process is smooth. I never have been disappointed with any of the sporting events or events that I went to here."

"This is a pretty huge venue. It’s not just a sporting location (Knicks, Rangers), I saw a couple concerts here. As far as places to take in a game or see a concert, this place can’t be beat."

Go Knicks!

dgdarien's rating:

"I can’t really comment on how the Square looks when a game is playing, since I visited it with a back-stage tour thing. It was interesting to see all of the sights though, the hockey/basketball ring, the concert stage, and the changing rooms. They even took us to the exclusive bars and box seats."

Madison Square Garden

"If you are coming to see a concert or watch the Knicks play (or lose nowadays) or the Rangers this is where most games are held. You can also find NCAA games played at the Garden as most NYers refer it as. The Garden is also a popular venue for concerts with more intimate concerts taking place in the theater. If you have nose bleed seats there are huge large screens that show the concerts as well"

Great game.

sports fan's rating:

"Yeah, the Knicks suck now, but it doesn’t mean that I’m not going to jump at the chance to catch a game at Madison Square Gardens. This place was pretty amazing. It’s huge and obviously is host to other events besides basketball, but in my opinion the Knicks are the main attraction. While everyone else we were with was staring down Spike Lee, I was concentrating on a pretty decent game. We bought the All Access tickets and got to see some pretty cool behind the scenes stuff. Seeing the players’ locker room was cool. Madison Square Gardens has a cool sports bar that we chilled at after the game for some celebratory beers."
