"They have a couple of cute little recreations of Colonial-era tavern rooms upstairs, but it's not much of a museum. The place is mostly a restaurant--a quite nice one with very attentive waiters and decent if overpriced food. The decor is colonial themed (naturally) and they have a fire burning in the reception area when it's cold out. The building does have some historical significance but when George Washington ate there, it looked more like the recreations upstairs and probably featured quite different fare on the menu, so it's not really like stepping back in time."
