The Museum for African Art was designed by Maya Lin, creator of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. Exhibits change twice a year and include items like masks, costumes, woven blankets and other traditional African art. A recent exhibit was Liberated Voices: Contemporary Art of South Africa. There are also educational programs offered, and a museum store is located onsite.
