"My college (drinking) buddy Jim works the floor at the NYSE, and when I’m town he and I usually hit the downtown bars together. We start out at The Blue Bar, which I like because of the nautical theme – there’s a great model of a clipper ship – that reminds me of being on the boat in the summer. Jim likes it, well, because the ladies here are easy on the eyes, especially the gal who sings on Thursday nights. This place has history, too, harking back to the early 1900s. Jim sticks to beer (imports, usually), but I prefer Bond’s drink of choice, a martini shaken not stirred."
