This giant complex (42,000 square feet) is part sports bar, part theme restaurant, brought to you by the ESPN sports news television channel. It is all flash and fits right in among the tourist establishments in Times Square. The space takes up a whole block and includes multiple rooms, as well as more giant television monitors than you could imagine and lots of sports memorabilia. Naturally, the gift store does a brisk business. The standard bar fare includes cheese sticks, buffalo wings, fries and burgers.

NavinR's rating:

"This place is great if you love sports, beer, and food. If you want a place to eat and watch the game (anything you could want) the restaurant is great. Two movie theatre sized screens framed by numerous big screen TVs allow a large variety of sports to watch at once. Each table has the option of listening to which ever TV you are interested in. There is also a really cool looking private area that sits above the restaurant and has views of the same set of TVs. Upstairs is every sports related game you could imagine, sort of an arcade for adults as well. These aren't drop a quarter and stare at the screen either, you get in and really drive the car, throw the pass, shoot the puck, etc. Oh, and if drinking beer appeals to you, the mugs of beer are huge. The only drawback is that is in the heart of tourist central (Times Square), however if that, and the crowds that go with it, don't bother you, then this place is fantastic. "

"The food was OK as was the service. I watched an NBA playoff game there and found it to be just another big TV wielding sports bar"

Great for private parties

"Sure, this place is a chain and you can go to one in many of the major cities in the U.S.. I have to say, I usually can’t miss an important game, even while on vacation, so I have ended up at most of them at one point or another. I really like the Times Square one in particular. Went to a bachelor party here once where they rented the party room complete with leather recliner. Sweet. Times Square is this crazy place, mostly filled with tourists, so to duck into this place for a beer and a game is pretty chill. Some cons to the place are that the bar food is expensive and not so great and the service can sometimes be nonexistent. The pros make up for it though – you can catch about any game known to man and the TVs in the bathroom are the greatest invention ever."
