An experience for sure

"When my foodie friend suggested we try WD-50, I was intrigued. I had heard about the trend toward this type of cuisine and was eager to experience it. We opted for the tasting menu and chose our own wines. While our wine selections were very good, many of the dishes were confusing and unsatisfying. We found many of the dishes had a gelatinous quality. While that works for the Carrots and Cocounut Sunny Side Up (this thing looked exactly like a sunny side egg), it was less than appealing when it came to the Yogurt Noodle in Cocoa Consomme. That left all of us with a bad taste in our mouths, literally. My favorite dish was a foie gras injected with beet juice. And I thought the desserts were ingenious and quite delicious. But alas, though WD-50 is certainly a dining experience, the portions were tiny and we left hungry and I don't think it's the type of place one needs to visit more than once unless you are on an expense account and looking to wow your out-of-town clients."

A Yummy Mad Scientist

"I’m not sure if this is haute cuisine of the musings of mad scientist. However, this is a total food experience. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. “Carrots & Coconuts Sunny-Side Up” is a concoction of carrot and coconut juice resembling an egg. If you want a treat, try their tasting menu paired with wine. It’s worth the extra expense and will keep you busy for hours! "
