Lots of old houses

"Maihaugen is an open-air museum, filled with houses from Norway’s past. I actually hate open-air museums today, because I went to so many in Scandinavia, and if you’ve seen one open-air museum, you’ve seen them all! But this was the very first one I went to, and it’s a good example of them! & nobody else I’ve talked to hates them, so I’m an anomaly, and you should go here! It’s quite big, with a lot of different types of houses. I like the ones that have grass growing on their roofs! There is also a stave church, which is the most famous and typical kind of old church in Norway. They have people walking around in traditional clothes sometimes, too. It’s interesting to see how people lived back then- such small houses, and everybody (& I mean EVERYBODY- even the animals!) in one room sometimes. So even though it’s not my thing, this is a really good museum!"
