Thanks to Gustoing, I just found out that Mardi Gras isn't the only big street party thrown in New Orleans, and it might not even be the best.
This year's French Quarter Festival is scheduled for April 13-15, 2007. They have fifteen music stages, featuring free performances from the best acts in New Orleans in every genre you could want to hear. Admission to the festival itself is free, but you're asked not to bring your own food and...
