City Crab & Seafood Company

Excellent food, if over-priced

Everything costs about four times what it has any right to, but you can't fault the food itself. I had the freshest, most perfectly cooked scallops I've ever eaten and really wonderful crab cakes. But for me, the best part of being there was that I saw Paul Simon--the musician, not the Senator. I was in the downstairs area, eating, and he came down from upstairs and walked out the door. He looked like a munchkin in mourning--no more than five feet tall and dressed entirely in black slacks, black T and a black baseball cap. Still, there was something cool about finding myself in the same restaurant with the guy--I was humming "Graceland" for a long time afterwards.
