Whitney Museum of American Art
Worth an hour or two
Not much of a permanent collection, but they tend to have fun special exhibits of the sort of work you wouldn't expect to see given gallery space someplace better, like the Met, MOMA or the Guggenheim. I'd suggest checking their web space to see what's being featured currently before deciding whether to go. Decent little gift shop and cafe downstairs.Reviewed on: March 07, 2008
