Pan Pacific’s Palau Pacific Resort, just 10 minutes from downtown Koror, is nestled among 64 acres of lush tropical plants on the western shore of the Arakebasang hamlet of Koror, Republic of Palau, part of the Western Caroline Islands chain in Micronesia. The economic center and capital of Palau, Koror is home to two thirds of the Republic of Palau’s population, and exudes a Micronesian pace of life.
The Palau Pacific Resort offers guests a private white sand beach with excellent snorkeling right off the hotel’s beachfront, and fine dining restaurants dishing up local fresh seafood, international cuisine and island specialties.

Meeting and banquet facilities at Palau Pacific Resort offer a variety of conference rooms hosting business and social events for up to 100 guests. For leisure and relaxation, Palau Pacific Resort features a well equipped fitness center, freshwater pool, two outdoor whirlpools and lighted tennis courts. Water sports enthusiasts can choose from windsurfing, snorkeling, sailing or kayaking. Splash, a five star dive center of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), located on the hotel property, provides first class diving instruction.

Palau Pacific Resort has 160 guestrooms, including eight Ocean Front Suites. Each guestroom features a tropical décor with one queen bed or two twin beds, tile floors, private patio or balcony, bathrobes and slippers, and a nightly turndown service. Some guestrooms are handicapped accessible.

This resort hotel, combining the island culture with an away from it all appeal, makes it the choice resort destination for the discerning international traveler.

Very nice tropical resort

Reviewed by Gini on August 06, 2006

Gini's rating:

"We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at PPR. The hotel is clean, well-appointed and modern. It is expensive, but then you have to figure how far everything has to be shipped to get here. Our room was very large and nicely decorated in the tropical style. The grounds are really lovely with gardens and ponds everywhere. The beach is quite nice and there’s a beachside bar. Be sure to check out the resident stingrays in the ponds…you can’t miss them, just walk by the pond and they’ll splash you with water. Their way of begging for treats. The staff feeds them several times a day and that is a sight to see. The resort boasts one of the nicer fitness facilities I’ve seen. The dive shop on premises is a very good one."
