Chinatown in Manila, Philippines
"I have been to many places, but this one stands out alot because of the culture squeezed in to this place. Chinatown, or commonly know as Ongpin Street, is a prime example of why the Philippines has a rich cultural background. I know there are many flaws, like single lane roads, dirty sidewalks or even the peeing horse at the next block, but all these contribute to the surrounding. Sound strange right? If you are a photographer, I suggest you visit this place, you can get many kinds of shots here. Animated people are everywhere. There are also alot of colorful landmarks to work with. It's not paradise, but the food here is great. You have many different specialties to choose from. From dimsum, to rice cakes, to fried meat buns, noodles, the list goes on and on. If you don't really like chinese food, then you can just stop by KFC or Mcdonalds!I have been to many chinatowns in the world, but this takes the cake, it's the real AUTHENTIC feeling.
