Location. The family friendly Hotel Apartamento Stella Maris opened in 2006 and is built in a Mediterranean style. Located 800 metres from the beach at Falesia, it is eight kilometres from Albufeira and 10 kilometres from Vilamoura. Faro International Airport (FAO) is 30 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
Hotel Features. The apartment complex has an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols, a children’s pool and a tennis court, and a running track within the landscaped grounds. A gym has fitness equipment and a sauna. There is free secure parking on site for those arriving by car.

Restaurant Stella Maris serves international dishes and light meals in a contemporary setting. Breakfast is also available each morning for a charge.

Apartments. The 140 apartments over five floors have light Mediterranean decor and contemporary furnishings. All open to balconies and are equipped with satellite television, direct dial phones, hair dryers, safes and air conditioning. The kitchens come with cookware and dishes, refrigerators and coffee/tea makers.

Expert Tip. Albufeira’s Old Fish Market offers a taste of the genuine old Portugal, before the tourists arrived. It is best to arrive early in the morning.
