Neuschwanstein Castle
Both the beauty of the castle and the legend of its creator, King Ludwig II, make this a great spot. If you choose to hike up to the castle instead of taking the bus, you should be prepared for a steep walk that takes about 30 minutes. The guided tour was lacking in content (which is why I give this 4 out of 5 stars) but the grounds and castle are rich in beauty and history.
