Musee d'Orsay
A museum as beautiful as the work it houses
This is quite possibly the most beautiful museum I have ever visited. While the Louvre has its own type of grandeur, Musee d’Orsay is unique in its train station turned museum architecture and interior. I understood better just how much I loved impressionist art, also, after visiting this museum. The one disappointment was that all of the Matisse art in the permanent collection was on loan for a travelling exhibit.
