National Museum of the American Indian
Not just a museum but a multimedia experience
I find it intriguing that a museum dedicated to heritage makes such great use of new technology. One multimedia show uses ceiling, walls, and artifacts as the surfaces on which it projects images. The area I would most recommend, though, is the area that explains the differing views about our relation to nature. These philosophies are central to Native American religion and understanding the similarities and differences among tribes, helps expands one’s view of life.
