Piazza del Duomo
Of course you have to go here
Not visiting the Duomo while in Florence is like a tourist skipping the Empire State Building in New York. You can just go inside the cathedral, or you can climb up stairs to get a closer look at Brunelleschi’s dome. You can also climb up the nearby belltower.
