Southern hospitality

We planned a trip to Atlanta for our anniversary last year, and friends of ours recommended the Georgian Terrace. It’s on the National Register of Historic Places, and we thought the lobby and atrium were just beautiful. The rooms weren’t quite as charming, and they were more modern, but they were certainly nice. We appreciated having a kitchen; it was nice to be able to stow away some milk, fruit and Cheerios for snacking on at night. The location was great, too – there was a Marta station about a block away, and we really enjoyed not having to drive anywhere in an unfamiliar city.
