Peaceful, nonsmoking, gorgeous scenery despite being located right on the Hwy. Near enough to downtown to be easy walking distance to tourist attractions, a shopping center, restaurant - although with the phenomenal breakfast you are offered, you won't need a restaurant in the morning. There is even a CD player in the breakfast room so you can listen to soothing or stimulating tunes while you dine, and you can dine al fresco if you choose on the small outdoor patio.
Our room was exceptionally clean, the sheets highest quality, our room quiet. I enjoyed the best two nights' sleep I'd had in any hotel. And I could wake up early and go outside to take photographs of the mountains, the hotel's Javelina statue, and blooming plants next to the walk and in pots.
