Tour the Red Rock Country of Sedona

Earth Wisdom Jeep Tours guide picked us up at our hotel. It turned out, as it was the first week of May and before true tourist season hit town, that we were the only two people on our tour! The Jeep had been well seasoned by the rough terrain tours outside Sedona, Arizona. Earth Wisdom offers many varieties of tours, from two to six hours for those so inclined. Their specialty is in giving you the best background history of the area, from Native American Spirituality to New Age Vortexes, you’ll absorb astounding vistas of information. We took a basic Sunset Tour, and it was really rockin’. You can see rims and ruins, flora and fauna – we were lucky enough to see both a thundering herd of Javelina and several Agave in bloom for the evening. The sunset was spectacular, and the quiet was awesome. Jeep/Horseback tours are available as well. The cost was reasonable enough that we could afford to tip our guide half what the tour cost.
