They say you shouldn’t mix business with pleasure, but that doesn’t mean that business travel can’t be pleasurable, right? With my work schedule, what I want at the end of the day is good service, a scotch on the rocks and a comfortable bed. For that, I have a favorite hotel in every city, most of which come with the added bonus of a top-notch business center that I usually hit in the early morning to fine-tune my work presentations. And if there’s a cool rooftop bar, all the better. Dining out is one of the few times in my trips that I can kick back and sample local culture and cuisine, so I usually head to spots tha specialize in regional fare. I’m a sucker for dessert – Key lime pie when in Florida, and cheesecake in NYC – but I gotta keep the old machine pumping, so a couple days a week I exchange my suit and wingtips for an old T-shirt, shorts and running shoes and hit the parks.

My wonderful wife and daughters, sailing in the summer, jogging with my dog, a great round of golf, spending the afternoon in the hammock in the backyard.
