Tattoo at Hart and Huntington Vegas

A blog about Las Vegas, NV

I know most people either like them or don't but I want a tattoo and I need a suggestion where I should put it. I don't necessarily want to see it every day or every time I look in the mirror so the obvious place is the back. I want a peace dove with an olive branch and I usually get the temp tats just below the nape of my neck but one of the girls I work with just got a swallow there so I don't want to do the same thing although we won't be working together forever. I also thought about the shoulder blade. I don't want to do the lower back either, too many nerves too close to the spine.

Has anyone had any tats done at Hart and Huntington in Vegas. I know there are good artists everywhere but I want to get mine there, sort of as a souvenir.  Which artists are the best or at the least good? I'm sure each artists prices are different based on their skills too.

I've never gone through with it (and probably never will), but I've occasionally thought about doing the same thing.

Hart & Huntington's doesn't let you make an appointment, but only takes foot traffic, so you can't call up and request a specific artist.  You're stuck with whomever's shift it is at the time you show up.  It looks as if they have a high enough rate of turn-over that there's no telling who that will be, or how good at their job he or she will be.  So you might want to think about this a leeeeetle bit more before you take the plunge.

That first url is for a listing of tattoo parlors in Vegas and the second is the Hart & Huntington myspace page.
