Taken in Thanmel in Nepal. These popular traditional masks are used for masked dances in September. They appear scary like demons to us but Nepalis believe they ward off evils. I find them as good souveniors to decorate my bedroom wall. Perhaps they'll frighten the burglars..thus warding off all evils!
