The Trellis Restaurant is renowned for its "Death by Chocolate" cake. Unfortunately, I didn't have the room for it in my stomach, so in retrospect, I should've ordered and eaten this first.

Since I went for lunch, I had a very simple dish: the savory cheesecake of the day, which had ovenroasted cherry tomatoes, pinenuts, and Swiss cheese. The menu acknowledges that many people would call this a quiche rather than a savory cheesecake, but it does have all the elements of a cheesecake. It was tasted, but I don't think it was worth $12. Had I read the menu more closely, I would've realized that I was on the wrong day for smoked salmon cheesecake, which is what had appealed to me.

If I get the chance to travel to Williamsburg again, I am definitely going to have the "Death by Chocolate" cake.
