Entertaining History

My family visited Gettysburg for a full day two summers ago. We wished we had time to stay longer! There was so much to see and it was really interesting and their was a ton of historical information. We bought the driving tour book with cd at the visitors center. It was so interesting with great stories. I went to Gettysburg as a teen and my family got the guided tour where you pay for a tour guide to follow you around Gettysburg and tell you all the info and stories. Both ways were great! If there hadn’t been such a long wait we would have done the guided tour but we were VERY happy with the cd driving tour. Be sure to check out the Cyclorama, which is a huge painting of the Gettyburg battlefield that is round. We learned so much about this important part of American history and my family still talks about this vacation as being one of their favorites, even over Disney! Who would have thought!
