Gusto Travel and the theory of Travel 2.0

Here's my spin of the buzz.  I disagree with Arthur Frommer for making it sound like someone from the travel publication world or having that type of degree would be the professional opinion
of what makes or breaks a hotel, or travel destination. I think like Gustonian said, that when you're looking for a place to stay,
it's good to get a professional opinion of someone that lives in the area, and look at reviews of people's personal experiences, not what a hotel
puts out, to decide where we want to go.  For instance, in my recent trip to Los Angeles and Encenada, I got opinions from a an LA resident, Marriane, and the opinion of a friend who had been on the trip to Encenada before and used the same cruise line.  I also bookmarked things I thought I'd like to do, and places I'd like to go, in Gusto travel.  I think if someone really did have a bad exerience, and the hotel didn't try to make something right, that falls under customer service issues, and it's something that a publication for a hotel would never tell you about.  They'd hide it beneath the lowest rock at the deep end of the ocean.  The theory of Travel 2.0 where you are empowered to give your own opinion on a travel related topic, or write a heartfelt review in Gusto travel, helps give us more information to go on when making our final decision.  Every piece of information you get, helps you arrive at the final answer with a firmer resolve.  People like choices, and I am glad we have them here.
