A place for swimming and golfing for sure.

I remember coming here as a little girl. I really liked it a lot. My favorite memories were of the swimming pool. They make you take a test every single year to make sure you are a strong enough swimmer. When the pool gets loaded with people. Often, the children are diving in and out between one another. If you are not a strong swimmer, you will not be able to move around them. One year I thought for sure I would pass the test. I had to stay behind. One of my cousins friends let me sneak under the net for a little while, but I could not go on the slide at all. Thw whole next year my mom made arrangements with a neighbor for me to learn how to be a better swimmer. You know, if you think about it, our parents were always there to help us win, even if we didn’t see it when we were kids. I thought those lessons were the most excruciating thing I ever had to go through. I the next year I passed the test, and sampled the slide like a pro. My dad played a lot of gold, my parents, myself, cousin’s, aunt’s and uncle’s used to have our BBQ’s here. We played softball, too. We played a lot of Volleyball, had yummy fudge from Wilon’s Bakery, and coca cola from my aunt, which by the way was forbidden in my house. My parents refused to ever let my brother or I have it inside our house. They did let us have Koolaid, which was kind of neat. Memories of the childhood always live on in our hearts and in our minds…
