The place for halloween or a gay pride parade..

If you’ve ever been on this street on Halloween, it is just chuck full of people. I don’t know how so many people get in one place and not knock each other down, but that secret is deep within everyone who comes here. It can definately be a real cattle ranch of people at times. The streets here are always so colorful, and you will see some rainbow parenphenalia from the people that live there. It doesn’t matter what denomination you are on halloween. Everyone hangs out together on thsi street, and all have a great time. Another time a year this street gets really crowded is at the gay Pride parade. People come from all over the US to celebrate gay pride, and it’s not just gay people who celebrate, it;s pretty much whoever would like to is more than welcome to join in the festivities. San Francisco is the known melting pot fo the world, and it’s a happy place to be in the best or worst of times, especially when you visit Castro Street.
