Casa Del Mar Beachfront Suites

This hotel is two "Y" shaped, three story buildings, with parking underneath and between the buildings. It's across the street from the beach. The shape allows each room to have an angled view of the beach. It was clean, and the staff were all very, very friendly and helpful. You walk into the suite, and there is a narrow hall. A couple of steps in, and there are two, built-in, narrow bunkbeds on one side, and a small bedroom on the other. It had a t.v. (OLD, but working) and closet and queen bed. A few more steps down the hall is the suite, which includes a small (one person at a time), cute kitchen with parquet floor, fridge, coffee maker, two packets of coffee, powdered creamer and sweetners, dishes, flatware, a couple of towels, dish detergent, stove, microwave. The suite had a nice enough t.v., fold-out couch. The carpet was in good shape. There were two cheapy plastic chairs on patio where you can watch the beach (if you place your chair in the right spot). Keeping in mind, we only paid $70/night (internet special, March 24, 25), I thought this was great. For a family with young-ish kids that can fit into the bunks, and you want to spend more than one night and do your own food preparation to save $$$, this would have been ideal. There was also a hair dryer and ironing board with iron, and small eating table. The bed and couch were awfully soft, and on the verge of needing replacement, but everything was well kept and clean.
