Monhegan Island
Awesome place
We arrived for the day on an early ferry in Sept. The weather was goregous. We were able to grab some sandwiches in the little tea shop before we set about exploring the island. There are about 70 fulltime residences on the island and the rest are summer homes. There are not utilties and one public bathroom. This place is an artists paradise they are plentiful. Where good hiking shoes. There are various trails some for the more advanced and some that are easy but the views are panaoramic from every angle.
