From Bangkok Airport a taxi or limousine service to Hua hin takes about 2 hrs 30 minutes. There are many places to stay in Hua hin, we like some of the new small luxury hotels and the boutique hotels. The Baan Laksasubha Hua Hin is a reasonable size luxury hotel on the beach, a short walk to the centre of Hua Hin town. The Baan Laksasubha is relaxing, stylish and very popular with people from Bangkok. There is also a very nice restaurant at the hotel.
Other favorites are the Wora Bura Hua Hin which is a luxury beach hotel resort, also The Rock Hua Hin is nice if you want a boutique small luxury hotel at the beach.
For a mid range beach bhotel the Anantasila Hua Hin at Khao Takiab's Hua Don beach is very nice, the hotel is right on the sandy beach.
There are many flights from Singapore to Bangkok, the flying time is 2 hrs 20 minutes.
